Joanne McDonald, Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner

Joanne came to Beltone in 2008 after several years of travelling through the USA conducting bird research. She became a Hearing Practitioner because she felt it would combine her love of science and health care and her desire to work with people. She finds it very rewarding to get to know her clients and hear their stories, and to see how their hearing aids improve their lives. Joanne wishes that everyone with hearing loss knew that using a hearing aid can help you reconnect with loved ones and the world around you. She feels that living in silence is no way to live at all.

Joanne’s favourite pastimes are birding, collecting vinyl records, hiking, camping and cuddling with her two dogs.
