Larissa Nelson, Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner

Larissa entered the field of hearing care so that she could combine her background in science with her desire to help and educate people about their health. She loves being part of her customers’ journey back to hearing health, and says that watching a client regain their ability to communicate and participate in life is one of the most fulfilling experiences she has ever had.

Larissa is saddened by the fact that people simply accept their gradual hearing loss and inability to communicate; she wants them to realize that hearing loss is a health problem that can be improved.

In her spare time Larissa likes to watch her kids’ sports activities, create digital art, hike and pursue genealogy.

Teresa Prothman, Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner

Teresa considers her work to be not just a job, or even a career – it’s her calling. She believes that working in hearing care allows her to directly affect her clients’ quality of life and wellbeing. In fact, she wishes that more people were aware of how important good hearing is to every aspect of communication in their lives. Teresa truly appreciates the loyalty of Beltone customers, many of whom have been with us for years.

When not at work, Bonnie stays busy spending time in the outdoors, hiking with her husband, two toddlers and shaggy dog, Bosco.

Pat Wagner, Director of First Impressions

We are proud to say that Pat has been with Beltone since 1994 and is our longest standing employee. She became interested in working with seniors when she was employed at a bank; she realized that they were great to be with and that they needed help. Pat finds that the best thing about her work is that her customers are happier when they leave than when they came in. Pat wishes that everyone with hearing loss realized that, with help, they can hear better.

Pat’s hobbies are home improvements, kayaking and travelling.
